This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, inspire, mentor, and oversee a team of sales representatives.
• Establish performance expectations, sales objectives, KPIs, and benchmarks.
• Provide ongoing coaching, training, guidance, and opportunities for professional growth.
• Instruct and train the Paylocity sales methodology.
• Monitor sales activities and performance to address challenges and secure deals.
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations.
• Create career advancement plans for members of the sales team.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and growth objectives.
• Identify and chase new customer acquisition, account growth, and upselling opportunities.
• Ensure efficient sales pipeline management and lead conversion.
• Collaborate with marketing on sales initiatives, lead generation, and conversion efforts.
• Build and nurture relationships with customers, prospects, and partners.
• Escalate critical accounts and intricate sales opportunities.
• Cultivate a customer-focused culture that prioritizes exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Monitor sales performance and create reports, forecasts, and metrics.
• Utilize CRM systems such as Salesforce and HubSpot to manage leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to enhance processes and sales strategies.
• Provide senior management with updates regarding sales performance and market conditions.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams.
• Assist in the development of sales materials, product presentations, and proposals.
• Offer insights on customer, competitive positioning, and emerging trends to product and marketing teams.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
• Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in HCM sales or business operations.
• At least 2 years of experience managing HCM Account Executives.
• Familiarity with major account payroll, HR, time and attendance solutions, and large, complex organizations.
• Proficient in CRM software.
• Experience in managing and motivating a sales team, emphasizing individual and team performance development.
• Strong leadership skills complemented by effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
• Willingness to travel and work in a virtual setting.
• Capability to operate in a fast-paced and evolving market environment.
• Mobility required for sitting, standing, and walking.
• Mobility needed for driving to prospective client locations.
• Manual/finger dexterity necessary in both hands for operating a computer keyboard and handling small objects.
