This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Collaborate with leading P&C carriers to align Duck Creek solutions with clients’ business objectives.
• Oversee all elements of the sales process within designated accounts.
• Educate potential and existing clients on valuable solutions and strategies to excel in their respective markets.
• Secure new top-tier business while nurturing and expanding existing accounts.
• Act as the sales authority for the team, providing support to Senior Leadership on matters impacting design and sales effectiveness.
• Establish formal networks with key decision-makers and represent the company externally.
• Foster relationships with key influencers and gain business insights within assigned accounts.
• Lead, instruct, and mentor Sales Directors on targeted opportunities.
• Engage in the onboarding and training processes for new Sales Directors.
• Guide Sales Directors in creating and managing their sales pipelines.
• Formulate and implement prospecting strategies to identify, qualify, pursue, and secure new business.
• Arrange and conduct face-to-face meetings with business leaders and C-level decision-makers.
• Develop, sustain, and expand an ongoing sales pipeline.
• Present customer proposals and presentations that articulate the Duck Creek value proposition.
• Maintain precise account status and sales activities in Salesforce.com.
• Manage account development and opportunity pursuit from assignment to closure utilizing Salesforce CRM.
• Provide accurate forecasts for new bookings.
• Design and implement strategies for acquiring new accounts.
• Carry out other related duties and responsibilities as necessary.
• Preferred degree or equivalent years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Over 12 years of experience in large enterprise sales, navigating complex business software and IT solutions.
• At least 7 years of extensive knowledge in the insurance industry/domain.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Large Account Management and leading account teams.
• Expert in managing large deal pursuit teams and complex buy-side consensus groups.
• Comprehensive understanding of the complete Duck Creek offering, including Service and Support.
• Proven track record of high sales achievement.
• Strong experience in long-term resource, technology, and account structure planning.
• Capability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Proficient in understanding and interpreting carrier strategies and aligning relevant Duck Creek software and service capabilities for C-level stakeholders.
• Ability to manage and leverage external partner ecosystems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Willingness to travel 80% of the time.
• May require overnight work schedules.
