This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Take ownership of the entire sales process from creating a target list and initiating first meetings to finalizing partnerships and generating live referral volume.
• Focus on mid-sized specialty practices, hospital health systems, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), long-term acute care (LTAC) centers, and home health agencies.
• Identify priority specialties and account types, understand their challenges, and develop tailored pitches and target personas.
• Create prospect lists, locate contacts, perform outbound sales activities, and arrange initial meetings.
• Transform existing physician liaison referral relationships into formalized, top-down programs.
• Promote usage among case managers, discharge planners, and practice administrators until Mira Mace is integrated into daily portal or electronic health record (EHR) workflows.
• Manage accounts generating 50 or more referrals, with an expectation of approximately 50 such accounts annually.
• Provide insights on segments, deal stages, and productization to inform company strategy.
• Report directly to the founder.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in quota-carrying, full-cycle healthcare sales targeting provider organizations.
• Proven track record in selling to specialty practices, hospitals, health systems, SNFs, or home health agencies.
• Demonstrated success in driving adoption and generating recurring referral volume, not just securing contracts.
• Experience in cold outbound sales efforts without support from sales development representatives (SDRs) or marketing.
• Skilled in building sales infrastructure, including defining ideal customer profiles (ICPs), mapping pain points, crafting pitches and presentations, defining sales stages, and outlining customer journeys.
• Ability to sell based on provider outcomes, such as reducing rehospitalization rates, improving appointment adherence, mitigating prior authorization burdens, and lightening case manager and administrative workloads.
• Established relationships in the provider and post-acute care ecosystem that can be leveraged from the outset.
• Willingness to be compensated based on referral volume rather than solely on closed contracts.
• Capability to navigate challenging questions from health system leadership groups.
• Preferred: Experience working with both mid-sized practices and large enterprise health systems.
• Preferred: Background in healthcare AI or services companies with usage- or volume-based revenue models.
• Preferred: Knowledge in areas such as prior authorization, patient engagement, care navigation, or post-acute placement.
• Preferred: Experience collaborating with field liaison teams and converting those relationships into contracts.
• Preferred: Familiarity with EHR integration.
• Variable compensation linked to referral volume.
• Opportunity for meaningful early equity.
• Competitive salary and compensation package.
• Support from the founder and opportunities for co-pitching.
• Engineering assistance for integrations.
• A Medicare-funded product that incurs no costs for customers.
