This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Enhance the pipeline of potential clients, assess key decision-makers, present products and services, and secure business deals.
• Utilize an established broker network to arrange meetings and introduce First Stop Health to brokers.
• Broaden presence in the employee benefits sector by selling to the clients of brokers.
• Develop and strengthen the initial stages of the sales funnel through focused prospecting and lead generation efforts.
• Inform brokers about the advantages of telemedicine and advocate for the First Stop Health model.
• Achieve the target for new business acquisition.
• Utilize the CRM to document sales process activities, pinpoint predictable milestones, and suggest new strategies.
• Keep abreast of industry developments, news, and the competitive environment.
• Sustain and enhance processes by adhering to established standards, policies, and procedures, while proposing new methods.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Over 5 years in employee benefits sales, demonstrating success in selling to employers through brokers/consultants OR comparable experience selling directly to C-suite executives.
• Established ability to cultivate and expand broker/consultant partnerships and influence producer audiences.
• Experience in selling health, wellness, and/or ancillary benefits (telehealth/virtual care, EAP, navigation, supplemental/voluntary, wellness).
• Existing broker network or robust relationships that can generate immediate pipeline opportunities.
• Proven success managing intricate, consultative sales cycles from start to finish with multi-stakeholder buying groups.
• Strong understanding of benefits economics and employer purchasing cycles (renewals, budgets, funding types).
• Disciplined management of the sales pipeline in Salesforce (or similar systems), with a robust forecasting approach and adherence to processes.
• Data-driven planning for territory and deals (segmentation, pipeline coverage, conversion rates, activity-to-outcome analysis).
• Strong executive presence and excellent relationship-building skills with senior broker and employer stakeholders.
• Preference for candidates based in Arizona, New Mexico, or Nevada.
