This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the sales team for Runpod in the Americas.
• Take responsibility for the revenue figures and regional pipeline, focusing on new business, expansions, and renewals.
• Provide forecasts that the executive team can utilize for planning purposes.
• Report directly to the COO/CRO.
• Mentor and guide Account Executives and Account Managers.
• Conduct deal and account reviews while offering real-time coaching to representatives.
• Maintain a hands-on approach with the largest and most complex opportunities.
• Manage executive engagement and oversee negotiations of master service agreements with the Legal and Finance teams.
• Transform product-led signups, targeted accounts, and inbound demand into a qualified pipeline in collaboration with Marketing and Product teams.
• Implement rigorous processes for expansions and renewals while enhancing account retention and growth strategies.
• Develop the Americas go-to-market strategy, including market segmentation, territories, and target accounts.
• Recruit and onboard new team members.
• Create playbooks and establish an operating routine.
• Provide competitive insights and customer feedback to the Product and Marketing teams.
• Leverage AI throughout the sales workflow, from prospecting to forecasting.
• 7+ years of experience in quota-carrying B2B sales.
• 3+ years of experience as a frontline manager responsible for achieving team sales goals.
• Proven history of consistently meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
• Experience managing revenue beyond new business, including expansions and renewals.
• Capability to sell to ML engineers, data scientists, executive buyers, and economic buyers.
• Strong understanding of AI and machine learning technologies, including the differences between training and inference.
• Experience in negotiating complex commercial agreements, including multi-year contracts and master service agreements.
• Strong discipline in using CRM and sales enablement tools.
• Proficient in rigorous forecasting.
• Habitual use of AI tools to enhance efficiency.
• Experience in early-stage or high-growth environments where playbooks were established.
• Self-motivated to lead a remote team in a Slack-first, asynchronous culture.
• Successful completion of a background check.
