This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Lead, mentor, and coach billing team managers to enhance leadership skills, develop succession plans, and boost team engagement across various sub-departments.
β’ Translate strategic organizational goals into clear team KPIs, establishing accountability and performance metrics at the manager level.
β’ Manage workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource allocation to support the scaling of operations.
β’ Act as the primary internal escalation point for complex operational, interdepartmental, or personnel issues.
β’ Oversee comprehensive revenue cycle management operations, including claims management, payer follow-up, appeals, denials, and write-offs for fee-for-service and value-based contracts.
β’ Track operational KPIs and benchmarks while developing departmental SOPs for ongoing process improvement.
β’ Conduct data reviews and provide weekly operational reports and monthly RCM metric updates to leadership.
β’ Lead the entire payer onboarding process, encompassing market research, contract applications, CAQH maintenance, re-credentialing, and delegated credentialing.
β’ Educate and enhance the skills of managers in contracting, credentialing, and compliance best practices.
β’ Collaborate with RCM leadership, Product, and Engineering to prioritize, design, and implement claims automation initiatives.
β’ Work alongside executive leadership to facilitate strategic payer launches.
β’ Implement high-priority strategic and operational projects that align with long-term RCM leadership goals.
β’ CPC and/or CPB certification is required.
β’ Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare leadership.
β’ Proficiency in telemedicine billing and coding for SUD/OUD/G Codes.
β’ Comfortable utilizing AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance workflows, analyze data, and improve efficiency.
β’ Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data, derive actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
β’ Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets.
β’ Demonstrated experience in managing, mentoring, and leading lower-level managers or team leads.
β’ Proven expertise in converting metrics into clear, executive-level reports and dashboards.
β’ Persistent in communication and interaction with payers.
β’ Experience collaborating cross-functionally with diverse teams.
β’ Background in project management for internal projects.
β’ Working knowledge of industry best practices in Revenue Cycle processes, including billing, charge capture, contractual adjustments, third-party reimbursements, and collections and cash management.
β’ Fundamental understanding of revenue integrity, including CPT and ICD-10 coding, as well as billing and compliance documentation requirements.
β’ Ability to navigate the uncertainties of a fast-paced company environment.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Strong attention to detail, outstanding organizational capabilities, and problem-solving skills.
β’ Fully remote work.
