This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap for mobile applications, cloud services, and the interconnected software ecosystem.
• Formulate product strategies that align with customer requirements, business goals, technological capabilities, and market opportunities.
• Identify avenues to broaden the connected product ecosystem while generating value for both customers and the business.
• Create strategies for subscription services, digital experiences, AI-driven functionalities, remote device management, and emerging technologies.
• Set product priorities and convey strategic directions to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Lead, mentor, develop, and expand a team of Product Managers and Product Owners.
• Define goals, priorities, performance expectations, and development plans for the product organization.
• Align priorities across mobile, backend, platform, and connected-device projects.
• Oversee the development and enhancement of consumer-facing iOS and Android applications.
• Collaborate with Engineering across iOS, Android, cloud infrastructure, QA, DevOps, and Firmware.
• Convert customer needs, business requirements, and market opportunities into product specifications, prioritized backlogs, and measurable execution plans.
• Maintain a balance among customer experience, technical feasibility, quality, speed to market, and business results.
• Work with Engineering and Design to provide intuitive, dependable, and high-performing user experiences.
• Establish standards and best practices for product development.
• Ensure seamless integration between physical products and the digital ecosystem, including wireless cameras and smart optics.
• Define the product strategy for IoT and connected devices.
• Enhance remote device management, connectivity, customer engagement, and product functionality.
• Assess emerging technologies and integrate AI and advanced capabilities.
• Set and track product KPIs, including retention, engagement, feature adoption, subscription conversion, crash-free performance, and App Store/Google Play ratings.
• Utilize analytics, customer insights, experimentation, and feedback loops to refine products and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Experience on product launches, onboarding, activation, retention, and engagement.
• Partner on App Store and Google Play optimization and in-app messaging.
• Ensure effective customer education, communications, and engagement during launches.
• Guarantee compliance with privacy, security, and regulatory standards, including GDPR, CCPA, and Apple/Google platform policies.
• Act as a strategic connector among Product Management, Engineering, Design, Firmware, Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, and executive leadership.
• Align stakeholders around priorities, timelines, customer needs, and business goals.
• Communicate product strategy, performance metrics, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Product Management, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of progressive Product Management experience in consumer mobile applications, software platforms, SaaS, or connected-device environments.
• More than 3 years of experience in leading and developing Product Managers or cross-functional product teams.
• Proven success in launching, scaling, and managing high-quality iOS and Android applications.
• Demonstrated ability to drive product adoption, engagement, retention, and customer satisfaction.
• Strong technical proficiency across mobile development ecosystems, APIs, cloud services, analytics platforms, and Agile product development.
• Experience in transforming customer needs and business objectives into product strategies, roadmaps, requirements, and execution plans.
• Solid understanding of product analytics, experimentation, KPIs, and data-driven product development.
• Proven capability to balance customer experience, technical complexity, business priorities, and financial results.
• Exceptional skills in communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentations.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to establish a vision while ensuring robust execution.
• Preferred: experience with hardware-connected products, IoT, smart home technology, wearables, outdoor technology, subscription-based digital products or SaaS, AI-driven products, remote device management platforms, consumer electronics, and App Store/Google Play optimization.
