Director of Product Management – MetaDefender Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the vision, strategy, roadmap, growth, adoption, and commercial results for MetaDefender Cloud.

• Act as the business owner for a trust-critical enterprise cloud solution.

• Establish prevention tier ladders, packaging, pricing, metering, discount guidelines, and the price book.

• Manage contractual SLAs, latency, availability, recovery objectives, automatic failover, and multi-region resilience.

• Maintain and enhance ISO 27001, SOC 2, and other certifications, along with data privacy and data residency policies.

• Oversee the shared platform that serves web proxy and ICAP protection, secure storage, email security, Salesforce, and threat hunting.

• Control cost per scan, unit economics, margins, performance, and cost efficiency.

• Lead platform transitions, customer migration strategies, and the phase-out of legacy products.

• Expand cloud marketplace, channel, reseller, and distribution partnerships.

• Develop the Technology Partners program, including SDKs, API documentation, automated onboarding, and vetting processes.

• Propel product-led growth through self-service, paid conversions, inbound marketing, digital funnels, and upgrade paths.

• Design onboarding, console, and API experiences for cloud architects, platform engineers, and enterprise security leaders.

• Facilitate sales efforts, engage in key events, collaborate with channel partners, and assess ROI.

• Track KPIs such as tier mix, NDR, GDR, realization, platform performance, and unit cost.

• Lead, mentor, and grow the MetaDefender Cloud product team.

• Communicate strategy, progress, and outcomes to internal teams, executives, and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in product management of cloud or SaaS products.

• Ideally, experience in cybersecurity or another trust-critical enterprise service.

• Strong advantage for experience in leading product managers.

• Background in managing high-availability, multi-tenant cloud services as a product.

• Proficiency in SLA and SLO design, recovery objectives, failover processes, and multi-region architecture.

• Credibility with SRE and platform engineering teams.

• Practical experience in guiding a cloud product through certifications like ISO 27001, SOC 2, or PCI DSS.

• Expertise in shaping data privacy and data residency strategies for regulated markets.

• Capability to manage a product line as a business, including aspects like packaging, pricing models, metering, and unit economics.

• Fluency in NDR, GDR, and recurring revenue metrics.

• Experience in growing products via cloud marketplaces such as AWS and Azure, as well as through channel or reseller partners.

• Experience in evolving a shared platform utilized by multiple products.

• Familiarity with self-service and developer-facing solutions, onboarding funnels, API-first products, and enterprise conversion processes.

• Proven track record in creating persona-driven product experiences leveraging research, usage data, and design collaboration.

• An AI-first mindset with active engagement in AI tools in daily tasks.

• Comfortable collaborating with R&D on APIs, cloud architecture, and technical trade-offs.

• Demonstrated experience in managing products from concept to launch with measurable outcomes.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and executive communication abilities.

• Willingness to travel frequently for field events, customer meetings, and R&D site visits.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline; an MBA is a plus.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies or similar frameworks.
