Director of Product Management – IT Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Direct the strategic vision and operational implementation of the proprietary software platform.

• Define, prioritize, and oversee the product roadmap in collaboration with the global product manager.

• Lead the complete product development lifecycle from concept to launch.

• Collect and evaluate user feedback effectively.

• Create comprehensive user stories and specifications.

• Work closely with the offshore software development team.

• Offer technical oversight and direction on product features, enhancements, and operational challenges.

• Ensure adherence to SOC 2, HIPAA, security standards, and best practices.

• Safeguard organizational data and systems.

• Manage relationships with customers, investors, and internal teams.

• Collect requirements, test ideas, and communicate product progress.

• Collaborate with the stateside operational team to convert business needs into technical specifications.

• Supervise daily IT operations, helpdesk support, and the swift resolution of operational issues and hotfixes.

• Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in a product management position.

• Robust background in software development and project management.

• Direct experience in the employee benefits or benefits administration technology sector.

• Capability to develop software solutions and features addressing complex real-world challenges.

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in managing and collaborating with a global or offshore development team.

• Practical understanding of IT operations, helpdesk support, and cybersecurity principles.

• Familiarity with SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance requirements is highly desirable.

• Leadership skills to inspire and motivate a team while managing a high-volume workload in a dynamic environment.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
