This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and take ownership of the strategic direction, vision, and multi-year roadmap for designated product portfolios.
• Identify market opportunities, competitive challenges, customer requirements, and emerging industry trends to guide investment decisions.
• Align product strategy with the company's objectives, financial aspirations, and growth initiatives.
• Establish priorities within the portfolio and make investment trade-off decisions among competing opportunities.
• Ensure that product roadmaps are in sync with customer value, revenue growth, operational efficiency, and strategic goals.
• Take responsibility for product business outcomes, such as revenue growth, adoption, retention, customer satisfaction, profitability, and market share.
• Develop and enhance pricing, packaging, monetization, and commercialization strategies.
• Collaborate with Finance and Executive Leadership on business cases, product investments, and return-on-investment analysis.
• Define success metrics and assess portfolio performance to uncover growth and optimization opportunities.
• Drive decisions throughout the product lifecycle, including launches, modernization, expansion, and retirement strategies.
• Oversee the go-to-market strategy and launch readiness for significant product initiatives.
• Work with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to promote product adoption and commercialization.
• Lead market research, competitive intelligence, and customer discovery initiatives.
• Integrate customer feedback, industry insights, and market data into product planning and prioritization.
• Lead, coach, develop, and assess a team of Product Managers and a Product Designer.
• Foster a high-performance culture centered on accountability, customer outcomes, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
• Set expectations, operating rhythms, and quality standards for the Product organization.
• Identify gaps in organizational capabilities and create succession and talent growth plans.
• Stay actively engaged in product discovery, prioritization, roadmap decisions, and strategic initiatives.
• Review and challenge assumptions, business requirements, customer issues, and proposed solutions.
• Guide teams in creating features, epics, business cases, and requirements that align with business and customer objectives.
• Support complex initiatives requiring executive alignment, cross-functional coordination, or significant organizational change.
• Eliminate organizational obstacles and escalate issues that may affect execution or business outcomes.
• Ensure product teams uphold backlog discipline, strategic alignment, and execution excellence.
• Influence and align stakeholders across Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, Legal, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Communicate strategy, priorities, trade-offs, risks, and performance updates to executive and cross-functional audiences.
• Represent Product Management in executive planning, strategic reviews, and company-wide initiatives.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
• An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Product Management, including ownership of product strategy, roadmaps, and measurable business outcomes.
• At least five (5) years of leadership experience managing Product Managers or equivalent product organizations.
• Proven success in leading product portfolios with measurable revenue, adoption, customer satisfaction, and commercial outcomes.
• Experience in developing product strategies, pricing models, monetization approaches, commercialization plans, and go-to-market initiatives.
• Background in conducting market analysis, competitive intelligence, customer research, and market validation activities.
• Established ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive alignment across various business functions.
• Strong analytical, financial, strategic thinking, prioritization, and decision-making capabilities.
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience working with Credit Unions, Financial Institutions, Banks, Fintechs, or related financial services organizations.
• Demonstrated understanding of the Credit Union and Financial Institution landscape, including customer needs, buying behaviors, competitive pressures, and industry trends.
• Experience engaging directly with Credit Union or Financial Institution customers, partners, or executive stakeholders.
• Experience delivering or managing products in one or more of the following areas: digital banking, Core Banking, loan payments and debt repayment, ACH, card processing, money movement, banking APIs and SDKs, white-label user experiences, or financial services SaaS solutions.
• Broad working knowledge of payment technologies, digital banking ecosystems, and financial services product offerings.
• Willingness to travel locally and/or nationally.
