This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the strategy, three-year vision, and business outcomes for GitLab's Agentic Software Delivery division.

• Lead and cultivate senior and principal product managers in areas such as Continuous Integration, Artifact Management, Continuous Deployment, and Observability.

• Create frameworks, standards, and operational rhythms to ensure consistent, high-quality product decisions.

• Manage section-level KPIs and adoption funnels; adjust investments or halt projects based on performance metrics.

• Assess strategic opportunities, partnerships, and decisions regarding building, buying, or partnering; develop accompanying business cases.

• Collaborate with Engineering leadership on platform investments, architectural direction, and trade-offs.

• Spearhead pricing, packaging, go-to-market strategies, migration, and adoption efforts alongside cross-functional teams.

• Act as the representative for the section with senior leadership, enterprise customers, partners, and industry audiences.

• Exemplify AI-native product management through discovery, synthesis, prototyping, roadmap exploration, and concept development.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading product managers, including nurturing senior and principal talent, recruitment, and directly addressing performance issues.

• A successful track record of managing a portfolio across various product areas with accountability for adoption, retention, and revenue.

• In-depth product management expertise in continuous integration and delivery pipelines, artifact or package management, release management, or observability.

• Experience in making and supporting build, buy, or partner decisions backed by a business case.

• Technical proficiency in pipeline design, artifact workflows, deployment strategies, and observability signals such as logs, metrics, and traces.

• Background in shaping pricing and packaging for technical products across free, commercial, and enterprise offerings.

• Experience engaging with technical customers in developer tools, DevOps, or software delivery contexts.

• Strong executive-level communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.

• Practical experience utilizing AI tools in product management processes.

• Insightful perspective on how AI and agentic workflows are transforming software delivery.
