This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the product portfolio overview, encompassing committed, in-progress, at-risk, and deferred tasks.
• Oversee the complete prioritization process, which includes cadence, criteria, ranking discussions, and published results.
• Establish and enforce readiness standards for projects entering the planning phase.
• Promote scope discipline by segmenting large initiatives into independent, value-generating increments and phasing out low-value tasks.
• Identify and address cross-squad dependencies, sequencing issues, and capacity conflicts.
• Direct the product operational cadence, covering planning, prioritization, roadmap evaluations, launch readiness, and retrospectives.
• Manage product launches from start to finish, including preparation, enablement, communication, and post-launch evaluation.
• Mentor, coach, and develop the product management team, focusing on hiring, performance, and career progression.
• Establish standards for product craftsmanship, including problem definition, discovery, requirements gathering, and success metrics.
• Assess the work of product managers and provide constructive feedback.
• Define and monitor execution metrics such as delivery predictability, cycle time, scope changes, and abandoned work efforts.
• Communicate progress to engineering leadership, the strategy organization, and the executive team.
• Over 8 years of experience in product management.
• More than 3 years of experience leading product managers or teams.
• Proven track record in delivering complex B2B software, preferably in SaaS, fintech, regtech, compliance, trust and safety, or similar sectors where precision and defensibility are as crucial as speed.
• Demonstrated ownership of a multi-team product portfolio, including managing work sequences with clear cross-team dependencies and balancing capacity across competing priorities.
• Experience in managing a prioritization process amid competing domains.
• Experience implementing a strategy you didn't create and translating direction into tangible, measured outcomes.
• Experience collaborating with an engineering counterpart as an equal.
• Proficient in modern delivery practices, including incremental delivery, iterative planning, and early-value release strategies.
• Sufficient technical knowledge to engage credibly in discussions regarding architecture and platform trade-offs.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to define and implement delivery and outcome metrics.
• Excellent written communication abilities.
• Comfortable navigating organizational change.
• A four-year college degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
