Director of Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and expand Tucuvi's product team, specializing in voice AI product management, clinical and medical product expertise, product design, and data.

• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, oversee performance evaluations, encourage feedback, develop career trajectories, manage underperformance, and celebrate top performers.

• Establish and uphold the product vision and strategy in alignment with company objectives in Europe and the US.

• Convert strategy into roadmap directions through six-week Shape Up cycles.

• Balance client obligations, market opportunities, and platform investments by utilizing explicit criteria.

• Facilitate shaping by transforming input from customers, clinicians, and the market into well-developed proposals.

• Prepare and advocate for product investments at the betting table alongside founders and the Director of Engineering.

• Ensure cycle discipline, including scope management, cooldown periods, and retrospectives.

• Mentor product teams and adjacent departments in the Shape Up methodology.

• Create structured feedback loops with Customer Success and maintain direct engagement with clinicians, care managers, and health system leaders.

• Assess adoption, usage, and clinical outcomes, and promote adoption post-release.

• Oversee internal product communication and ensure alignment among teams regarding upcoming releases and their purposes.

• Align Sales with precise product messaging and provide enablement support.

• Collaborate with Customer Success on rollout strategies, adoption, and client communications.

• Partner with Marketing and the market on positioning and feature communications.

• Represent Product at management meetings and with customers and partners as necessary.

• Report directly to Marcos, CTO and Co-Founder.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years in product management.

• Proven experience in managing and developing product teams, including product managers, designers, or specialists.

• Demonstrated history of owning a product area from start to finish: strategy, roadmap, execution, and measurable results.

• Capability to translate ambiguous challenges into clear priorities, well-defined tasks, and decisive actions.

• Experience in building and launching products within the healthcare sector.

• Understanding of clinical workflows and the purchasing and adoption processes of healthcare organizations.

• Ability to earn the trust of clinicians.

• Knowledge of the US healthcare system, including providers, payers, value-based care, and HIPAA regulations.

• Practical experience with LLM-based or agentic products.

• Understanding of prompt behavior, evaluation methods, and monitoring deployed agents for quality and safety.

• Daily use of AI tools in personal work.

• Experience implementing a structured product development methodology with genuine discipline.

• Comfort in making prioritization decisions with limited information and standing by them.

• Proficient in both Spanish and English.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Direct experience in the US healthcare market is a plus.

• Previous experience with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) or similar regulated products is a plus.

• Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, and EHR integrations, including Epic or Oracle Health, is a plus.

• Direct experience with the Shape Up methodology is a plus.

• Experience with voice AI or conversational AI products is a plus.

• Experience transforming products into go-to-market strategies, including launches, messaging frameworks, and sales enablement, is a plus.
