This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Establish and drive the vision for the infrastructure platform that supports patient care and organizational operations.
β’ Create and implement architectural scaling strategies to ensure high availability and cost-effectiveness.
β’ Write, assess, and deliver production-quality code in collaboration with the engineering team.
β’ Enhance the patient care platform by contributing software capabilities.
β’ Develop and implement AI and automation features for Platform Engineering.
β’ Design the platform to boost developer efficiency and satisfaction.
β’ Deploy platform capabilities that align with business continuity and disaster recovery policies and procedures.
β’ Prioritize security within the platform strategy and operations while facilitating security assessments.
β’ Share GCP architecture and platform knowledge through pairing, code reviews, and hands-on training.
β’ Lead and cultivate a small, high-performing team.
β’ Onboard new team members, manage performance evaluations, ensure necessary training, and oversee absences.
β’ Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and Enterprise Technology teams on system design and the technology roadmap.
β’ Perform administrative tasks using a company-issued computer.
β’ Attend a limited number of team meetings and company events as required.
β’ Demonstrated capability to design and build technical roadmaps that align with the company's mission and scalable architecture objectives.
β’ Comfortable working across the technology stack and implementing software components.
β’ Proficient in several programming languages, including Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or similar.
β’ Ability to quickly learn languages or frameworks outside of primary expertise.
β’ Proven experience in developing AI solutions, including LLM-based APIs, intelligent automation, or model-serving infrastructure.
β’ Experience in implementing security measures across software infrastructure, including SDLC processes, AI security, and data security and retention.
β’ Proven track record of implementing HIPAA-compliant technologies.
β’ Familiarity with working within regulatory standards such as HITRUST and/or SOC2.
β’ Experience managing GCP components like Cloud Run, Cloud Armor, and Cloud SQL/Postgres.
β’ Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
β’ Experience in managing and scaling production database infrastructures, including Postgres and MySQL.
β’ Proficient in using code repositories like GitHub.
β’ Proven ability to develop a high-performing team that delivers operational excellence and measurable results.
β’ Ability to sit for extended periods in front of a computer screen.
β’ Capability to lift up to ten pounds.
