This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the monthly SIOP process by setting the agenda and facilitating decisions among the sales, operations, finance, and executive leadership teams.

• Evaluate demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity to ensure a balance between supply and demand across the product range.

• Develop and maintain master production schedules that align with business goals and customer obligations.

• Track and report on SIOP KPIs, such as forecast accuracy, safety stock levels, and on-time delivery metrics.

• Assess and review safety stock levels for all SKUs to achieve an optimal balance between service levels and carrying costs.

• Set and uphold safety stock targets based on variability in lead times and fluctuations in demand.

• Spot opportunities for reducing excess inventory while sustaining target service levels.

• Conduct monthly reviews of inventory adequacy and present insights and recommendations to operations leadership.

• Perform regular evaluations of lead times for raw materials, components, and finished goods.

• Monitor both vendor and internal manufacturing performance in relation to established lead time standards and guidelines.

• Identify lead time variances and collaborate with Procurement on necessary corrective measures.

• Maintain documentation on lead times and refresh planning parameters within Syteline as conditions evolve.

• Detect and resolve planning anomalies, including production bottlenecks, material shortages, and capacity constraints.

• Analyze the root causes of planning exceptions and propose corrective actions to the Operations and Procurement teams.

• Keep an eye on Syteline alerts and exception reports; investigate and rectify planning discrepancies.

• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing planning accuracy and system usage.

• Work together with Production and Operations to address scheduling conflicts and capacity challenges.

• Provide guidance to executive leadership on capacity strategy, planning risks, and process maturity.

• Establish and document planning processes, standards, and best practices throughout the organization.

• Mentor and develop other personnel involved in planning.

• Execute other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience as a Master Scheduler or in a comparable senior planning/scheduling position within a manufacturing, supply chain, or operations context.

• Required hands-on experience with Infor CloudSuite Industrial/Syteline scheduling.

• Extensive working knowledge of Syteline planning, scheduling, and MRP functionalities.

• Strong comprehension of demand forecasting, inventory management, master scheduling, and S&OP/SIOP processes.

• Familiarity with lead time management, safety stock calculations, and production scheduling principles.

• Experience in medical devices, biopharmaceuticals, life sciences, or other FDA/ISO-regulated manufacturing sectors is preferred.

• Strong aptitude for ERP systems and an understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows.

• Proficient in Excel and data analysis.

• Exceptional attention to detail along with strong organizational and project management abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.

• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Comfortable in influencing decisions and setting direction at the executive level without formal authority over other staff members.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• A collaborative approach with the ability to build effective working relationships across departments.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
