This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Develop and implement a strategic new-business territory plan for North America.
• Build a qualified sales pipeline through direct prospecting, industry networks, referrals, events, marketing initiatives, ecosystem partnerships, and coordinated introductions from Molex.
• Establish connections with senior decision-makers in R&D, product development, operations, procurement, business leadership, and executive management.
• Utilize customer and market intelligence to uncover unmet needs, emerging technologies, outsourcing triggers, and new product or platform opportunities.
• Convert customer requirements into unique Phillips-Medisize value propositions that encompass design, engineering, development, tooling, manufacturing, supply chain, electronics, and lifecycle support.
• Direct discovery, qualification, stakeholder mapping, competitive positioning, and pursuit strategy.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to create proposals, business cases, technical concepts, timelines, and commercial offers.
• Oversee customer presentations and negotiations from new business awards through to a structured transition to account and execution teams.
• Maintain a disciplined approach to CRM activities, including pipeline stages, next actions, probabilities, value assessments, timing, and forecast updates.
• Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, webinars, thought leadership, conferences, content creation, and lead-nurturing programs.
• Provide actionable insights on competitors, customer investments, technology trends, and market adjacencies.
• Cultivate internal support without formal authority and establish clarity across complex pursuit teams.
• Rigorously qualify opportunities and disengage when strategic fit, value, access, or probability is lacking.
• Ensure a smooth commercial handoff post-award, including commitments, assumptions, risks, relationships, and growth hypotheses.
• Deliver a high-quality pipeline, access to new buying centers and senior decision-makers, profitable new business awards, improved conversion rates, and seamless transitions to account and execution teams.
• A minimum of eight years of proven new business development, solution selling, or technical sales experience in IVD, diagnostics, life sciences, or medical technology.
• A demonstrated history of opening new accounts, generating opportunities, and closing complex, high-value business deals with extended sales cycles.
• Experience in selling contract design, product development, engineering, manufacturing, or integrated technology solutions.
• Proven success in understanding customer product and business needs to align technical, operational, and commercial resources to create solutions.
• Familiarity with executive prospecting, discovery, proposal development, negotiation, and CRM-based pipeline management.
• Willingness to travel frequently across North America and internationally as business needs dictate.
• An advanced degree or technical training in engineering, diagnostics, biotechnology, or business.
• An established network within North American IVD, laboratory, bioprocessing, or life sciences companies.
• Experience selling solutions related to plastic disposables, microfluidics, fluid management, injection molding, automation, electronics, or connected devices.
• Experience in developing opportunities from initial concept through design transfer and commercial manufacturing.
• Proficiency in leveraging account-based marketing, social selling, industry events, and ecosystem partnerships to drive demand.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, CPQ, and structured sales methodologies.
