This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Direct the comprehensive materials optimization strategy throughout all Strategic Business Units.
• Standardize planning procedures, enhance inventory accuracy, and boost efficiency in material movement.
• Recognize gaps, evaluate performance, and implement materials management best practices alongside SIOP SBU leaders.
• Propel transformation initiatives to establish a top-tier SIOP organization.
• Ensure the integration of standardized planning processes, advanced analytics, and disciplined execution.
• Create governance, policies, and frameworks for materials planning and inventory management.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and Engineering teams.
• Oversee ongoing improvements to minimize waste and optimize processes.
• Provide executive leadership with updates regarding performance, progress, risks, and opportunities.
• Report directly to the VP of SIOP & Material Management.
• Generally requires a University Degree and a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 12 years of experience.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in materials management.
• At least 5 years in a leadership position.
• Proven proficiency in MRP systems and ERP software, including SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or JD Edwards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for all organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Knowledge of MRP logic and best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and operational execution abilities.
• Experience with data analysis and forecasting tools.
• Capability to manage complexity within global supply chains.
• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is necessary.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is highly desirable.
• An MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.
