This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the narrative and go-to-market strategy for Redwood, enhancing the digital presence across all business sectors.
• Oversee a small marketing team dedicated to implementing the company’s marketing strategy.
• Create positioning and messaging frameworks for the recycling, materials, and Redwood Energy sectors.
• Direct go-to-market strategies for new product launches, partnership announcements, and significant commercial achievements.
• Identify customer personas, outline decision-making journeys, and validate messaging with commercial and business development teams.
• Manage competitive positioning and keep track of the competitive landscape.
• Produce sales and enablement materials, including one-pagers, pitch decks, capability briefs, and frameworks for RFP responses.
• Establish and uphold Redwood Materials’ brand voice, visual standards, and editorial perspective.
• Contribute to a cohesive company narrative that integrates various business lines under Redwood’s mission.
• Simplify technical work into clear, credible narratives for non-technical audiences.
• Develop the marketing operating system, which includes an editorial calendar, campaign frameworks, asset library, and analytics stack.
• Forge collaborative relationships with product, business development, policy, and communications teams.
• Align with leadership on strategic priorities and emerging narrative opportunities.
• Collaborate with PR and communications on earned media, executive profiling, brand reputation, and crisis management.
• Enhance market positioning and improve communication clarity for enterprise and technical audiences.
• A minimum of 10 years in B2B product marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role or function.
• Extensive experience in technical product storytelling within clean energy, advanced manufacturing, industrial technology, defense technology, or related fields.
• Proven capability to develop and manage a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, including campaign execution.
• Excellent writing skills, encompassing executive briefs, customer-facing one-pagers, and outlines for conference keynotes.
• Experience in marketing to enterprise procurement and business development audiences, as well as government or policy stakeholders and engineering talent.
• Ability to operate effectively without the support of a large team or major agency.
• Compensation commensurate with experience.
