This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and take ownership of Primordial Labs' marketing strategy encompassing brand, product marketing, and communications.
• Convert business strategies into marketing priorities, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Present key performance indicators (KPIs) to the leadership team.
• Enhance the brand across various platforms including the website, graphics, videos, events, and social media.
• Create capability briefs, demo videos, white papers, case studies, one-pagers, and other marketing collateral.
• Author blogs, press releases, capability briefs, one-pagers, website content, and talking points.
• Manage the company’s social media presence, ensuring multiple posts are published weekly.
• Design and execute marketing campaigns for product launches, demonstrations, trade shows, contract wins, and company milestones.
• Direct designers, writers, video producers, and agencies as required.
• Oversee the website, content engine, marketing automation integration, analytics, and KPI reporting.
• Define the marketing team structure needed for the next 24 months.
• Collaborate with leadership, business development, and engineering to translate technical capabilities for operators, program offices, prime contractors, partners, and investors.
• Over 10 years of marketing experience.
• More than 2 years in a leadership role within a marketing function or team.
• Proven experience in establishing a marketing function from the ground up.
• A portfolio showcasing personal marketing work that can be discussed in detail.
• Capability to manage multiple simultaneous workstreams in a dynamic, lean environment.
• Outstanding writing and storytelling skills, with available samples.
• Experience in marketing a technical product to a discerning buyer.
• Aptitude for quickly learning complex domains and articulating them credibly.
• Experience overseeing contractors, agencies, and creative professionals.
• Strong proficiency with contemporary marketing tools, including appropriate use of AI tools.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Current residency in the United States is mandatory.
• Permanent residency or visa sponsorship is not acceptable for regulatory compliance.
• Background in defense is preferred but not essential.
• Skills in graphic design, layout, and/or video production are advantageous.
• Experience in marketing to DoD, government, or national security clients is preferred.
• Familiarity with autonomous systems, robotics, AI, or human-machine teaming technologies is a plus.
• Experience as an early marketing hire at a startup or defense technology firm is preferred.
