This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and execute a centralized Learning & Development framework for the enterprise, incorporating governance, standards, and systems.
• Take ownership of Workday Learning and act as the internal authority on learning design and delivery.
• Continuously enhance the onboarding process as the organization grows.
• Standardize onboarding procedures across various teams and locations to boost new-hire productivity.
• Design scalable training tracks for employees acquired through mergers and acquisitions.
• Collaborate with department leaders and subject matter experts to create and refresh training materials.
• Identify skill deficiencies and ensure training remains relevant as the business progresses.
• Define and monitor learning KPIs, including time-to-competency, knowledge retention, and training completion rates.
• Utilize data to perpetually enhance learning programs.
• Establish and lead a functional training team that supports Sales, Customer Experience, and Product.
• Determine the structure of the training team, recruit team members, and develop an operating model for delivering consistent and repeatable functional training.
• 7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with a minimum of 3 years managing a training function or program portfolio from start to finish.
• Proven track record in designing and scaling a training program from its inception, including establishing an L&D function, creating content from the ground up, and developing repeatable processes with limited resources.
• Experience in designing learning across various modalities, such as video, scenario-based exercises, job aids, live facilitation, and microlearning.
• Practical instructional design experience focused on applicable skills and translating intricate processes and product features into effective training.
• Capable of working autonomously in a high-output, fast-paced setting.
• Skilled in collaborating with and influencing department leaders and subject matter experts.
• Proficient in managing competing priorities and working efficiently without direct authority.
• Data-oriented approach to assessing time-to-competency, completion rates, and knowledge retention.
• Hands-on experience in developing and delivering learning content using Claude or other AI tools.
• A degree or certification in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Learning, Design, & Technology, or a related area is considered a plus.
• Proficiency in Workday Learning is an added advantage.
