
Director of IT Architecture – Technical Account Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the Technical Account Management function at Prime Therapeutics and develop an IT Client Success capability.
• Lead, guide, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the Technical Account Management team.
• Define and implement the strategic vision, operational model, service offerings, engagement framework, and roadmap for Technical Account Management.
• Build and sustain trusted relationships with key client technology leaders and stakeholders.
• Act as the escalation point for technical leadership regarding client-facing technology challenges, risks, priorities, and strategic opportunities.
• Create and uphold technical account management standards, processes, governance models, tools, metrics, and service level expectations.
• Collaborate with Account Management, Sales, Implementations, Information Security, Business, and supporting IT areas to align client requirements with enterprise capabilities and technology strategy.
• Facilitate discussions on technology reviews, roadmaps, architecture, modernization planning, implementation readiness, and executive briefings.
• Advocate for client priorities, technical requirements, strategic initiatives, and modernization needs within Prime planning and prioritization processes.
• Develop repeatable frameworks for client technology engagement, technical advisory services, client journey management, and modernization planning.
• Coordinate intricate cross-functional technology initiatives impacting strategic clients.
• Establish metrics for client satisfaction, retention, modernization outcomes, technical adoption, operational excellence, and service quality.
• Enhance the client experience through improved processes, technological capabilities, automation, standards, and governance.
• Support strategic client requests, implementations, migrations, and modernization programs through technology leadership, oversight, and coordination.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, resource plans, workforce strategies, and operational plans.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, security, risk management, privacy, audit, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to define future-state client engagement models and technical advisory capabilities.
• Promote collaboration, accountability, innovation, continuous improvement, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience.
• High school diploma from an accredited institution or equivalent GED is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT-related roles with exposure to diverse technologies and applications.
• At least 5 years of leadership and people management experience in Technical Account Management, Customer Success, Professional Services, Technical Consulting, Client Technology Services, or similar fields.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring work visa or residency sponsorship.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives that involve technology, operations, product, implementation, sales, and client-facing teams.
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to executive audiences and external clients.
• Experience in building strategic relationships with executive stakeholders.
• Proven track record in managing complex technology programs and client-facing initiatives.
• Ability to influence without direct authority within large, matrixed organizations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused language.
• Strong problem-solving and business analysis abilities.
• Ability to multitask, manage projects, establish timelines, and meet deadlines.
• Capability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with ambiguity.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale IT initiatives and driving digital transformation.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, formulate strategy, and deliver results in dynamic settings.
• Preferred: experience in healthcare payer, PBM, health plan, specialty pharmacy, health technology, or healthcare services environments.
• Preferred: experience supporting enterprise technology transformations and large-scale platform migrations.
• Preferred: experience in creating and operationalizing client journey models, client engagement frameworks, and client advisory programs.
• Preferred: advanced certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or ITIL.
