Director of Franchise Development – Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Drive organic franchise lead generation through paid social media, paid search, franchise portals, websites, and landing pages.

• Expand the broker channel by utilizing consultant newsletters, portal profiles, sales tools, webinars, and events.

• Cultivate the pipeline using email, SMS, and retargeting strategies.

• Enhance lead quality in collaboration with the franchise development team.

• Align campaign and consultant outreach expenditures with available territories and open markets.

• Oversee strategy, budget, and reporting for each brand and channel from lead generation to signed agreement.

• Develop the team by managing 1–2 direct reports.

• Supervise agency scope, budget, and performance metrics.

• Ensure marketing compliance by collaborating with the Legal team to align franchise advertising with the current FDD.

• Collaborate closely with the Chief Development Officer, the Legal team, and business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of marketing experience, including more than 3 years in franchise development marketing or franchise sales lead generation.

• Proven experience with both organic lead generation and the broker or consultant channel.

• Demonstrated ability to link spending to qualified pipeline and signed agreements.

• Proficient in paid social media, paid search, landing pages, email automation, and CRM systems.

• Familiar with the FDD and franchise advertising regulations, particularly Item 19.

• Strong writing skills and creative judgment across diverse brand voices.

• Experience in managing direct reports and external agencies.

• Established connections with franchise consultants and consultant networks are preferred.

• Background in home services or with a multi-brand franchise platform is preferred.

• Knowledge of EOS or a similar operating system is preferred.
