This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes for cost accounting and inventory valuation.
• Supervise standard costing, job costing, and the development of labor and overhead rates across manufacturing programs.
• Conduct profitability, variance, and margin analyses by product line, contract, and business unit.
• Ensure that accounting and estimating processes adhere to DCAA, FAR, DFARS, and ITAR regulations.
• Oversee accounting for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory.
• Design and implement cycle count programs, physical inventory procedures, and reconciliations.
• Manage inventory pegging, material traceability, and Customer Furnished Material tracking in Infor LN.
• Monitor excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory, establishing reserves and mitigation strategies.
• Act as the functional subject matter expert for Costing, Warehousing, and Manufacturing modules in Infor LN.
• Synchronize Inventory Control, Shop Floor Management, and the General Ledger.
• Propel Infor LN system enhancements, data governance, and process automation.
• Build, mentor, and lead a team of cost accountants and inventory control specialists.
• Establish, monitor, and report key performance indicators for inventory accuracy and COGS.
• Maintain internal controls, ensure SOX compliance, and provide audit support.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI DoD security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Strong understanding of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) is necessary.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership abilities are required.
• Proven experience in managing direct reports.
• Ability to summarize complex findings and concepts into key data points and visual representations.
• Capable of prioritizing multiple deadlines effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Supply Chain Management is required.
• At least 10 years of progressive cost and inventory accounting experience is necessary.
• A minimum of 5 years in a management or leadership position is required.
• Aerospace and Defense manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with engineer-to-order and government contracting is a significant advantage.
• Extensive hands-on expertise with Infor LN Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Financial modules is strongly preferred.
• Regular and reliable attendance on a full-time basis or as per the posted schedule is required.
• Ability to sit and use computers and office equipment is necessary.
