This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Direct the FP&A and strategic finance operations.
• Act as a crucial collaborator with Accounting, senior leadership, and the board of directors.
• Develop, manage, and consistently enhance an integrated three-statement financial model for planning, scenario analysis, and fundraising efforts.
• Oversee the annual budgeting process, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial planning across all business areas.
• Manage 13-week and full-year cash forecasting models.
• Create runway and scenario models that integrate hiring strategies and employee turnover.
• Prepare materials for board presentations, investor reports, and due diligence.
• Take ownership of SaaS and healthcare metrics, such as CARR, net revenue retention, and gross margin.
• Lead the planning of headcount and compensation in alignment with departmental budgets and hiring strategies.
• Collaborate with department heads regarding accountability and the financial repercussions of business decisions.
• Work alongside Accounting during monthly closing processes for variance analysis and timely reporting.
• Mentor and nurture the development of finance team members.
• Report directly to the Senior Vice President of Finance.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is mandatory.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking, including finance leadership roles at a growth-stage tech or healthcare organization.
• Proficient in constructing dynamic, integrated three-statement financial models.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with a comprehensive understanding of SaaS and healthcare business models, including NRR, CARR, and gross margin.
• Experience in supporting or preparing for fundraising or due diligence processes.
• Proficient in NetSuite, Salesforce, Excel, and Google Sheets.
• Ability to simplify complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a systematic approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• An MBA or CPA is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare technology or Pharmacy Benefit Management is a plus.
• Familiarity with M&A or post-acquisition integration is advantageous.
• Previous experience at a Series C through E venture-backed startup is a bonus.
