This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Execute all accounting responsibilities, which include journal entries for accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, and other daily accounting tasks.
• Establish monthly payroll in ADP for COO's review prior to initiation and record monthly payroll journals.
• Collaborate closely with HR to facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new employees.
• Conduct monthly cash reconciliations with the organization’s bank accounts and general ledger.
• Ensure that monthly financial statements are precise and comprehensive.
• Oversee external audit processes and the creation of Form 990.
• Prepare year-end financial statements for review and supply auditors with accurate financial data and documentation.
• Partner with the COO to enhance financial reporting, dashboards, account structures, and integrations.
• Work with HR to accurately monitor payroll deductions.
• Maintain various state and international registrations.
• Manage cash flow and interbank transfers in collaboration with the COO.
• Supervise credit card payments and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with business line leaders to submit and manage invoices on client third-party payment platforms.
• Deliver accounting-system reporting for senior management.

• A solid accounting background.
• A strong preference for experience with Sage Intacct and ADP payroll software.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and MS Excel.
• Capability to learn new software applications quickly.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience, preferably in nonprofit or fund accounting.
• Experience in building dashboards in Sage Intacct or other financial software or ERP systems is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with audits and Form 990 preparation is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision within established protocols.
• Capacity to juggle multiple tasks and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to collaborate with a diverse range of individuals representing various organizations, backgrounds, and experiences.
