This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Manage the performance, reliability, and lifecycle of customer facilities, infrastructure, and physical assets.

• Provide strategic direction for maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement initiatives for facilities.

• Analyze and assess facility and asset performance metrics, operating expenses, maintenance costs, and financial outcomes.

• Lead the annual planning process for facility operations, capital projects, resource distribution, and long-term asset management strategies across various customer locations.

• Establish governance, standards, and best practices for asset management, facility operations, maintenance planning, and performance reporting.

• Act as a senior advisor to Asset Managers and clients on complex operational challenges, facility-related risks, capital investment priorities, and asset optimization strategies.

• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal partners to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of facilities, infrastructure, and essential systems.

• Review and endorse asset management and facility operations strategies aimed at enhancing profitability, asset reliability, asset longevity, and customer satisfaction.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Four years of directly relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.

• At least seven years of related experience.

• Three years of leadership experience in asset management, facilities management, operations & maintenance, energy infrastructure, property management, or a similar operational setting.

• Understanding of facilities and asset management practices.

• Knowledge and capability to enforce safety regulations.

• Ability to identify business growth opportunities through effective customer management.

• Proficiency in managing profits and losses, as well as reporting quarterly and monthly forecasts.

• Skill in generating reliable financial forecasts.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Detail-oriented with a readiness to engage in ongoing projects in a dynamic environment.

• Familiarity with industry standards and competitor landscape.

• Capacity to multitask and perform responsibilities beyond the typical scope when required.

• Willingness to travel 50% of the time to various job sites and office locations.

• Ability to evaluate work accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness.

• Physical ability to climb stairs and remain in a standing or seated position for extended periods.

• Capability to perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

• Ability to conduct light work, including adjusting or moving objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
