This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee national partnerships with top clients, concentrating on strategic initiatives.
• Facilitate strategy discussions and conduct business reviews.
• Create and monitor KPIs while providing actionable recommendations, action items, and consultative advice in the CPG sector.
• Manage national client relationships across designated C.A. Fortune partnerships and all agency divisions.
• Collaborate with the Sales Development team on client sales priorities and strategic approaches.
• Organize 1–2 annual executive meetings and/or business reviews for each client.
• Identify and cultivate leads for expanding existing client partnerships.
• Advise clients on channel objectives, marketing strategies, and retail execution.
• Act as a primary contact for internal account personnel, encompassing executive, retail, accounting, branding, e-commerce, sales, and finance teams.
• Manage revenue projections and collaborate with the Sales Development team to formulate annual budgets based on analytics.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for partnership success, focusing on sales, distribution, pricing, shelving placement, promotional volume, and spend.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new clients assigned to the desk.
• Work in partnership with leadership across Sales Development, Retail, ECOM, Marketing, Finance, Support, and Sales.
• Guide cross-functional teams towards shared objectives.
• Create annual corporate bonuses based on KPIs that benefit both clients and C.A. Fortune.
• Supply clients with pertinent brand and category information.
• Supervise initiatives and inspire others to execute without requiring daily oversight.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 7-10+ years of experience in CPG industry sales and category management.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Proven experience in sales planning, forecasting, and execution.
• Capability to effectively analyze and utilize various information sources to formulate strategic plans.
• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strong, effective relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in spreadsheet and presentation software.
• Strong problem-solving skills with well-honed organizational, communication, and time management capabilities.
• Confident in managing change.
• Ability to read, interpret, and present data using SPINS, Nielsen, and IRI.
• Experience in Client Management and/or Agency settings is highly preferred.
• Prior familiarity with SPINS, Nielsen, and IRI.
• Understanding of the C.A. model.
