This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Establish and direct recruitment best practices across all levels of the organization.
β’ Ensure a values-driven candidate experience and foster positive candidate pools.
β’ Provide communications and training support for managers and hiring teams, including interview preparation.
β’ Implement organization-wide recruitment guidelines.
β’ Create systems and strategies for promoting open positions within underrepresented communities.
β’ Assist in the improvement and execution of the organizational onboarding process.
β’ Guarantee that new hires have a comprehensive and smooth onboarding experience.
β’ Formulate a comprehensive learning and development strategy for the organization.
β’ Identify gaps and needs in organizational learning.
β’ Design and deliver both synchronous and asynchronous learning modules and resources.
β’ Act as a subject matter expert on learning strategy, providing coaching and mentorship to the Employee Experience Team and volunteer partners.
β’ Develop and administer annual employee and culture surveys.
β’ Analyze survey results and create reports and recommendations.
β’ Build and sustain a high-performing team.
β’ Make decisions regarding hiring, promotions, and terminations for supervised staff.
β’ Mentor and nurture the Employee Experience Team, conducting annual performance assessments.
β’ Create and execute people-focused programs that promote workplace belonging and organizational values.
β’ Facilitate coordination and strategic integration of Sierra Clubβs Affinity Groups.
β’ Oversee a team of 3β4 staff members.
β’ Significant experience in leading initiatives that welcome new employees to a company or organization.
β’ Knowledge of federal regulations and legal responsibilities related to document retention and non-discriminatory hiring practices.
β’ Experience in managing, developing, evaluating, and scaling recruiting and onboarding programs.
β’ Strong facilitation abilities.
β’ Proficiency in designing synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences.
β’ Strong coaching and collaboration capabilities.
β’ Excellent audience analysis skills.
β’ Familiarity with adult learning principles and inclusive learning approaches.
β’ Experience in program/project management that supports engagement in learning initiatives.
β’ Ability to manage workloads and adapt to shifting priorities.
β’ Proficient in various ATS, LMS, and HRIS systems.
β’ Capacity to gather employee feedback and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data.
β’ Commitment to enhancing and evolving the understanding of systemic oppression.
β’ Ability to cultivate cross-functional relationships and collaborate effectively.
β’ Strong project management skills.
β’ Experience collaborating with executives and advising senior leaders on employee experience, culture, learning, and engagement.
