Director of Data Science – Patient Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead analyses to create product features that address significant consumer challenges.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and Data Engineers.

• Oversee a dedicated data science team that evaluates business and product performance.

• Design and implement experiments.

• Contribute to product planning efforts.

• Mentor analysts while also driving individual projects in a player-coach capacity.

• Make a direct impact on access to mental healthcare and patient retention.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience.

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Data Science, Math, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or other quantitative disciplines.

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics or data science, providing analytical recommendations across various business functions.

• Strong people management skills, including building and leading teams and developing talent.

• Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders; proficient in data storytelling.

• Extensive experience with statistical analysis and A/B testing methodologies.

• Comprehensive understanding of product analytics metrics such as retention, conversion, engagement, churn, and marketplace balance metrics.

• Expertise in Python and/or SQL.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Looker and Tableau.

• Must reside in the United States; currently not hiring in Hawaii.

• Must be currently eligible to work in the United States.

• Preferred: previous experience in a high-growth startup and/or consumer digital marketplace.

• Preferred: prior experience in the healthcare sector.

• Preferred: capability to link analytics insights to business strategy and influence product decisions.

• Preferred: experience integrating AI into Analytics/Data Science workflows.

• Preferred: background in Machine Learning and Ranking systems.
