This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the development strategy for the curriculum within the School of Health Professions.
• Plan and oversee the curriculum development process, including course catalog submissions, modifications, and additions.
• Suggest new areas of study, micro-credentials, specializations, and certificates.
• Collaborate with the Director of Assessment and Accreditation to ensure alignment with course-level outcomes and accreditation criteria.
• Work alongside faculty, staff, administration, Learning Experience, and various school/university committees.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to faculty regarding course, module, and student learning outcomes, content management, and curriculum development.
• Ensure continuity in the curriculum across programs, focusing on scaffolding and consistency among courses.
• Oversee course catalog submissions and maintain course integrity.
• Monitor course feedback and facilitate curriculum updates.
• Coordinate with faculty subject matter experts for the development and revision of the curriculum.
• Manage contracts and approvals for subject matter experts.
• Review final course versions to guarantee quality on behalf of the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.
• Inform staff and faculty regarding changes to course versions and assignments.
• Address minor adjustments to active courses or implement hotfixes as needed.
• Ensure that curriculum modifications adhere to school-level governance procedures.
• Navigate curriculum changes through university governance and WSCUC review processes.
• A doctoral or terminal degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in higher education, specifically in curriculum development.
• Proven expertise in curriculum design.
• Demonstrated experience in leading strategies related to curriculum development and planning.
• Familiarity with CurrICuNET (CNET) is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of curriculum design, management, and implementation practices.
• In-depth understanding of school, university-level, and regional accreditation governance processes.
• Preferably, a working knowledge of office management systems within a higher education context.
• Intermediate proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within diverse teams in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
