This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and oversee a pipeline of partnership opportunities for ambulatory surgery centers in both existing and new markets.
• Create outreach strategies aimed at physician groups, health systems, and referral sources.
• Utilize data-driven analysis to identify and prioritize new market opportunities.
• Act as a representative for Compass in the marketplace, enhancing its reputation as a preferred partner.
• Build relationships with physician owners, practice leaders, hospital executives, governing boards, and other key stakeholders.
• Lead consultative discussions and deliver presentations that communicate Compass’s value proposition, investment philosophy, and operational model.
• Function as a trusted advisor throughout the partnership lifecycle.
• Initiate, structure, negotiate, and finalize complex joint venture opportunities.
• Coordinate both internal and external stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Operations, Clinical, and Executive Leadership teams.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to facilitate expansion efforts.
• Establish a local market presence through travel, meetings with physicians, engagement with health systems, and industry networking.
• Provide executive leadership with insights on market intelligence, pipeline updates, and strategic recommendations.
• Manage multiple transactions while maintaining pipeline reporting and forecasting.
• Assist with the transition from signed agreements to implementation.
• Convey market insights and customer feedback that influence enterprise strategy.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in corporate development, business development, healthcare strategy, mergers and acquisitions, or transaction leadership.
• Experience ideally in ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, hospitals, or broader healthcare services.
• Demonstrated success in originating, structuring, negotiating, and closing complex healthcare partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions, or strategic transactions.
• Proven ability to build relationships with physician owners, health system executives, governing boards, and senior business leaders.
• Exceptional skills in communication, presentation, and negotiation.
• Experience leading consultative sales and transaction processes that involve multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of ASC operations, physician practice dynamics, healthcare finance, and transaction economics.
• Solid financial and business acumen, including the ability to evaluate partnership economics and market opportunities.
• Capable of maintaining momentum through lengthy and complex business development cycles.
• Ability to influence across different functions while operating independently.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• Previous experience in private equity-backed healthcare and an established ASC industry network is strongly preferred.
• Must possess eligibility to work in the United States.
• Willingness and capability to travel regularly.
