Director of Clinical Training

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage Bloomwell's clinical training and professional development programs across all regions.

• Ensure high-quality onboarding, competency-based training, and continuous professional development for clinical services team members.

• Collaborate with Clinical Directors, Clinic Success Managers, Clinical Leads, and executive leadership to establish standardized training systems.

• Direct Bloomwell's Clinical Residency and Fieldwork Program.

• Supervise BT/RBT clinical onboarding programs, including schedules, competency completion, and quality assurance.

• Guarantee standardized onboarding across clinics and regions.

• Facilitate onboarding weeks as necessary.

• Manage sister site training and off-cycle BT onboarding.

• Coordinate the completion of structured 30-day training plans.

• Develop onboarding schedules, competency timelines, and training workflows.

• Monitor onboarding outcomes and implement continuous improvements.

• Assist with Bloomwell Skills Competency evaluations and remediation planning.

• Utilize competency data to identify organizational training needs.

• Create and enhance training materials in line with changing state-specific standards and payer requirements.

• Review applications for the Clinical Residency Program.

• Conduct orientations for incoming trainees and residents.

• Track fieldwork hours monthly to ensure BACB compliance.

• Coordinate transitions from trainee to resident positions.

• Lead group supervision meetings in accordance with BACB standards.

• Mentor BCBAs in supervision skills, feedback delivery, ethical supervision, and competency-based evaluation.

• Advise supervisors and residents on fieldwork requirements, documentation, and best practices.

• Develop and maintain a clinic-ready curriculum for all Bloomwell locations.

• Design BACB Task List-aligned competency-based projects.

• Lead journal clubs and advocate for evidence-based practices.

• Develop and provide continuing education opportunities.

• Offer quarterly Professional Development Units (PDUs).

• Support initiatives for career pathway identification and leadership development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing.

• At least three (3) years of experience as a BCBA.

• Proven experience supervising RBTs and BCBA trainees.

• Experience in designing or delivering clinical training programs.

• Strong skills in presentation and facilitation.

• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.

• Enthusiasm for mentorship, coaching, and leadership development.

• Active BCBA licensure as required.

• Licensed, or willing to obtain licensure, in all states served by Bloomwell (Minnesota, Nebraska, and North Carolina).

• Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time.

• Pass a drug screening when necessary.

• Availability to work across Central and Eastern time zones.

• Pass a background check in all of Bloomwell's regions.

• Telehealth experience preferred.

• Ability to sit for extended periods.

• Capability to stand, walk, and move around the clinic environment as needed.

• Ability to respond quickly to patient needs.

• Ability to lift 30 pounds when necessary.

• Competence in using a computer and other office equipment for documentation and data analysis.

• Manual dexterity to manipulate small objects and materials used in therapy.

• Ability to work in a clinical setting with varying noise levels, temperature conditions, and potential allergens.
