
Director of Client Acquisition – Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate the yearly homeowner acquisition strategy and convert installation objectives into targets for leads, qualifications, applications, and contracts.
• Set targets for central marketing, regional acquisition, reactivation, referral, and partnership channels.
• Maintain a cohesive forecast and initiate corrective measures when lead volume, quality, conversion, or capacity dips below the targeted levels.
• Oversee, mentor, and develop the Senior Client Acquisition Marketing Coordinator, Intake Team Manager, and other direct reports.
• Spearhead the central marketing strategy and campaign implementation, which includes email and SMS, website conversion, paid and social media, multi-region campaigns, regional campaign support, and A/B testing.
• Set standards for lead response, qualification, ownership, routing, and transitions between central and regional teams.
• Collaborate with regional and functional leaders to synchronize channel plans, targets, source tracking, follow-up standards, and performance evaluations.
• Work alongside the Data team to sustain funnel definitions, dashboards, forecasts, and source attribution.
• Convey performance, risks, and resource requirements to leadership.
• Represent client acquisition in planning, budgeting, staffing, and cross-functional decision-making processes.
• Create a unified acquisition system with shared targets, clear channel ownership, prompt lead follow-up, effective conversion, measurable referral and partnership outcomes, and dependable forecasting.
• Lay the groundwork for transitioning day-to-day campaign leadership to a future Central Client Acquisition Marketing Manager.
• Proven leadership experience in client acquisition, marketing, intake, outreach, enrollment, demand generation, or a similar role.
• Experience in managing teams and directly leading multi-channel marketing initiatives.
• Extensive knowledge of acquisition funnels, lead conversion, campaign performance, attribution, and forecasting.
• Ability to translate production goals into quantifiable pipeline targets and utilize CRM and performance data to inform decisions.
• Exceptional strategic planning, prioritization, communication, coaching, and cross-functional leadership abilities.
• Dedication to equitable access and respectful engagement with diverse communities.
• Experience in clean energy, housing, nonprofit, community development, or another mission-driven sector is preferred.
• Availability for rare night and weekend work may be necessary.
• For work-related travel vehicle use/reimbursement, a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
