This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take ownership of the category narrative by converting data into engaging and actionable stories for Sales, Brand, and leadership teams.
β’ Provide insight-driven recommendations for joint business planning, assortment strategies, pricing, promotional guidance, and initiatives aimed at revenue growth.
β’ Equip Sales teams with ready-to-use selling narratives and dashboards to leverage insights and enhance customer interactions.
β’ Offer category and shopper context to refine brand strategies and pinpoint whitespace opportunities.
β’ Aggregate syndicated data, internal sales figures, shopper trends, panel metrics, and market intelligence into a practical category viewpoint.
β’ Collaborate with customer development, Sales, revenue growth management, finance, and brand marketing to ensure alignment in execution and strategy.
β’ Act as the internal category expert, directing decisions and strategies as the business defends its space and ventures into adjacent categories.
β’ Enhance and develop reporting and analytical tools for effective insight extraction at national, regional, and channel levels.
β’ Clearly present complex analyses and recommendations to leadership and retail partners.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related discipline (MBA preferred).
β’ Over 7 years of experience in Category Management, Category Insights, or Shopper Insights within the CPG or beverage sector.
β’ Strong grasp of category management, shopper behavior, and retail market analysis.
β’ Proficient in using syndicated data tools like SPINS, IRI/Circana, Numerator, and Kroger Stratum/84.51Β°.
β’ Advanced skills in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, IF statements, SUMIFS).
β’ Strong PowerPoint and data storytelling capabilities to transform data into clear insights and recommendations.
β’ Experience in supporting sales teams, customer development, and joint business planning with retail partners.
β’ Ability to convert complex data into actionable insights and compelling selling narratives.
β’ Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence teams without direct authority.
β’ Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
