This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Generate new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships in the Southeastern region of the United States
• Meet or surpass territory sales objectives by sustaining current business, enhancing existing accounts, and cultivating new business
• Identify and engage potential customers through prospecting, qualifying leads, and establishing connections
• Utilize advanced selling techniques to comprehend client requirements, craft value propositions, and finalize sales opportunities
• Acquire and showcase knowledge of KCAS services and technologies
• Record customer meetings, emails, and phone discussions in Salesforce CRM
• Assist in the creation and submission of customer proposals and Statements of Work
• Manage accounts and contacts in Salesforce and HubSpot
• Provide daily updates regarding current sales-pipeline opportunities in Salesforce
• Prepare promotional materials for vendor exhibitions and professional conferences
• Enhance the visibility of the KCAS brand through conferences and social media platforms
• Undertake other assigned responsibilities
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the life sciences sector, including 3–5 years in a direct sales or client management role
• Experience in selling intricate bioanalytical services across LC-MS/MS, ligand binding assays, flow cytometry, and molecular platforms such as PCR/qPCR/ddPCR/NGS within regulated GLP/GCP settings
• Demonstrated ability to finalize complex technical service contracts
• Previous experience with client-facing interactions is essential; experience in the CRO/CDMO industry is preferred
• Proven track record in setting and achieving sales goals while cultivating strong relationships with both new and existing clients
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to be self-motivated and entrepreneurial while collaborating with internal colleagues
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; MS Project knowledge is a plus
• Proactive and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving skills
