This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +5 more countries.
β’ Directly spearhead new-business sales with governments and NGOs throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
β’ Identify, qualify, and successfully secure new OpenFn partnerships with government digital transformation units, ministries, NGOs, and financial organizations.
β’ Create and oversee the new-business pipeline from initial discussions to signed contracts.
β’ Represent OpenFn at industry events, working groups, and stakeholder meetings across the region.
β’ Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of OpenFn's platform for integrations, data exchange, workflow automation, and public service delivery.
β’ Engage in meaningful discussions with technical and digital transformation teams regarding integration, data exchange, automation, and semi- or fully autonomous AI Agents.
β’ Collaborate with product and services teams to propose and develop solutions for intricate opportunities.
β’ Provide insights on product value proposition, usability, and overall performance.
β’ Take ownership of prospecting, qualification, solution development, negotiation, and closing processes.
β’ Structure proposals and contracts based on OpenFn's subscription and services framework.
β’ Ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation and account management.
β’ Enhance OpenFn's brand and establish relationships within the Latin American digital transformation and social impact ecosystem.
β’ Communicate region-specific market insights and opportunities to leadership.
β’ Demonstrate the platform multiple times each day and share feedback with the broader team.
β’ 7-10+ years of experience in enterprise or complex B2B/B2G sales or business development, preferably in selling technical or platform products.
β’ Proven track record of sourcing and closing new business, particularly with government or large institutional buyers.
β’ Technical proficiency in Agent Management, AI Orchestration, MCPs, APIs, integrations, data exchange, and workflow automation.
β’ Capability to convey information effectively between technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively within a small, fully remote team.
β’ Fluent, professional-level communication skills in both English and Spanish, encompassing written, verbal, and presentation formats.
β’ Capability to work from home or a shared office environment with reliable, high-speed internet.
β’ Must reside in Bogota, Mexico City, Lima, Montevideo, or Buenos Aires; candidates in Brazil will also be considered.
β’ Preferred: experience in selling to governments, ministries, or public-sector digital transformation units.
β’ Preferred: background in selling or delivering complex digital transformation, business process transformation, or data integration projects.
β’ Preferred: experience in social impact or international development.
β’ Preferred: familiarity with Digital Public Goods, Digital Public Infrastructure, open-source software, or GovTech.
β’ Preferred: previous experience in a startup or early-stage environment.
β’ Preferred: working proficiency in Portuguese or additional regional languages.
