This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee analytics for the Merchant Ecosystem
• Lead and nurture a team of senior analysts
• Collaborate directly with Merchant and organizational leaders
• Take charge of analytics self-service, transitioning business teams from analyst-dependent reporting to governed, agent-enabled self-service
• Establish and monitor targets for analytics self-service adoption
• Manage the certified metric layer in Snowflake, utilized by Sigma and AI agents
• Determine which metrics receive certification and establish approval processes for changes
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product, and AI/ML teams to implement conversational analytics
• Select analytics-agent use cases, set guidelines, and promote adoption beyond pilot programs
• Oversee AI-assisted analysis governance through accuracy verification, review thresholds, escalation procedures, and quality measurement
• Manage the BNPL application funnel, including application initiation, drop-off, decision outcomes, approval and take rates, funding, and loan performance
• Identify points of friction in the funnel and work with Product, Credit, and Engineering teams to eliminate them
• Assess merchant acquisition, activation, and retention across different verticals
• Define merchant health and indicators of merchant stagnation
• Establish definitions for merchant KPIs and conduct A/B tests, incrementality analyses, and elasticity studies
• Provide guidance to Merchant and company leadership
• Conduct hands-on analysis for approximately 30–40% of the role
• Minimum of 8 years in analytics or data science, including experience in managing and developing analysts
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative discipline
• Proficient in SQL
• Working knowledge of Python or R
• Demonstrated success in developing self-service analytics, including certified metric definitions, a semantic or modeling layer, and reliable data quality practices
• Practical experience applying LLM- or agent-based analytics in real business scenarios
• Capability to articulate how accuracy was assessed and how failure cases were addressed
• Strong expertise in funnel and conversion analytics within a high-volume consumer or transactional product environment
• Solid skills in experimentation
• Proven history of influencing senior leadership and collaborating effectively with Product, Engineering, and business teams
• Preferred: Experience with Snowflake semantic views, Cortex Analyst, or Cortex Agents
• Preferred: Familiarity with Sigma or another warehouse-native BI tool
• Experience in BNPL, consumer lending, or payments is advantageous but not mandatory
• Background in a two-sided or merchant-network business is a plus
• Comfortable performing hands-on data analysis
