This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and enhance OCHIN’s advisory services practice, encompassing its operational framework, service offerings, delivery methods, governance, and quality benchmarks.

• Formulate repeatable engagement models for discovery, assessment, recommendations, facilitation, implementation support, and value realization.

• Create reusable playbooks, templates, diagnostic tools, executive-ready deliverables, discussion guides, and resources for ROI/value assessment.

• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Business Development, Member Success, Operational Excellence, Marketing, Communications, Training, and other departments.

• Convert OCHIN’s customer service philosophy into actionable behaviors, service standards, coaching practices, and tools.

• Develop OCHIN’s perspectives and best-practice guidance based on data, member experiences, operational knowledge, and safety-net requirements.

• Lead, mentor, and develop Strategic Advisors and designated staff members.

• Design role-specific learning opportunities, practice labs, observation, feedback, peer learning, and coaching sessions.

• Foster a community of practice for members of staff who engage with clients.

• Act as an executive-level advisor, facilitator, role model, or engagement lead for intricate member opportunities.

• Assist teams in analyzing member objectives and data, identifying root issues, and formulating actionable recommendations.

• Mentor teams on transitioning from recommendations to member-driven action plans.

• Establish practice metrics and feedback mechanisms for capability adoption, engagement quality, member value, actions taken, satisfaction, retention, and organizational learning.

• Report on practice progress, risks, resource requirements, lessons learned, and recommendations to executive and cross-functional leaders.

• Keep abreast of health care, safety-net, customer success, and consulting trends.

• Provide on-site support for member organizations for software installations or training as needed.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, business, organizational development, education, public health, health informatics, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• An advanced degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in health care consulting, advisory services, customer or member success, professional services, organizational development, service design, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of leadership experience, practice leadership, or formal coaching responsibilities.

• Proven experience in building or evolving a consulting, advisory, professional services, customer success, or capability-development function.

• Experience in developing consulting methodologies, service standards, playbooks, learning programs, coaching frameworks, or quality assurance processes.

• Proven record of leading complex client or member engagements and advising senior executives through complex, cross-functional decisions.

• Ability to translate organizational expertise, data, and subject matter knowledge into clear perspectives, practical recommendations, and scalable tools.

• Required experience in the health care industry.

• Strong preference for experience with health IT, community health centers, Critical Access Hospitals, Tribal health organizations, rural providers, or other safety-net entities.

• Exceptional skills in facilitation, coaching, written communication, executive presentations, and relationship building.

• Willingness to travel approximately 15% to 25%.

• Proficient in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English.

• Capability to work independently and effectively from a home office environment.
