This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Spearhead Casa Central’s initiatives in fundraising, marketing, communications, and volunteer engagement.
• Formulate and implement thorough strategies for fundraising, resource development, and stakeholder engagement.
• Create programs for corporate, foundation, government grants, individual contributions, special events, volunteer efforts, and in-kind donations.
• Manage donor databases and CRM functionalities, including data governance, integrations, analytics, and reporting utilizing Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with individuals, corporations, foundations, government entities, volunteers, and other supporters.
• Oversee donor portfolios and supervise the fundraising efforts of the Vice President of Advancement and the President/CEO.
• Drive the organization’s Moves Management process, including pipeline evaluations, prospect research, and donor engagement strategies.
• Direct grant prospecting, proposal and report creation, grant lifecycle management, compliance, contracts, and relationships with grantors.
• Lead marketing, communications, branding, publications, fundraising campaigns, and provide public relations direction.
• Manage agency special events, which encompasses budgeting, contracts, vendor relations, and event execution.
• Direct the volunteer program, Emerging Leaders Auxiliary Board, and corporate volunteer projects.
• Establish fundraising budgets, objectives, metrics, and reports to facilitate data-informed decision-making.
• Offer strategic guidance and reports to the Board of Directors and the Advancement Committee.
• Ensure adherence to Illinois charitable trust regulations and relevant IRS requirements for donor communications and donation reporting.
• Collaborate with Casa Central programs, departments, senior management, the Vice President of Advancement, President/CEO, and the Board of Directors.
• A Bachelor's degree in a Business-related discipline is required.
• A Master’s Degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in nonprofit resource development and marketing management is necessary.
• Demonstrated success in resource development within the nonprofit landscape.
• Awareness and sensitivity to cultural diversity.
• Willingness to travel locally, with some overnight regional travel involved.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
• A valid Class D Driver’s License is required.
• Current vehicle insurance coverage must be maintained.
• A completed Motor Vehicle Report is necessary.
• Access to a personal vehicle for business purposes is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT Pro or a similar CRM system is essential.
• Basic mathematical abilities for managing fiscal matters, budgets, and expense reports are expected.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
