This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, nurture, and motivate a high-achieving team of accounting specialists, CPAs, and finance professionals.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support executive decision-making.
• Deliver actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Manage post-acquisition financial integration, which includes intangible asset valuation, purchase accounting, and ensuring compliance with IFRS.
• Guarantee accurate and timely monthly/quarterly financial statements and KPIs for designated business units.
• Initiate system implementations and optimize accounting workflows.
• Assist with annual audits in accordance with IFRS guidelines.
• Provide guidance on complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition (IFRS 15) and multi-element contract evaluation.
• Collaborate across functions to support acquisitions and enhance the organization’s financial well-being.
• Report directly to the SVP of Finance & Accounting.
• CPA designation or a globally recognized accounting certification (e.g., CA, ACCA).
• Over 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years as a controller.
• Demonstrated capability to mentor teams and work collaboratively across departments in matrix settings.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly NetSuite.
• Experience in accounting within the SaaS/tech industry or at prestigious public accounting firms.
• Practical experience with mergers, acquisitions, or corporate restructuring.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, especially concerning revenue recognition standards for software businesses.
