📋 Description

• Develop and manage the partnerships pipeline for Jerry's new product offerings, from initial outreach to signed agreements and successful onboarding.

• Independently lead discussions with insurance carriers and partners.

• Assess partner compatibility and grasp partner requirements.

• Create customized value propositions and oversee processes through to closure.

• Design innovative deal structures and alternative partnership models.

• Take ownership of partner success post-closure, ensuring partners ramp up, stay engaged, and evolve into long-term relationships.

• Provide essential partner insights to inform vertical strategy and the sequencing of new product initiatives.

• Collaborate across various functions including product, engineering, data science, legal, finance, and executive leadership.

• Report directly to the Vice President of Partnerships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategy consulting.

• Proven history of successfully closing complex, multi-stakeholder agreements.

• Experience in building from the ground up, including launching a new partnership category, entering a new market, or establishing a business development function without a pre-existing model.

• Background that combines at least two of the following: consulting or structured problem-solving, business development or sales execution, and early-stage startup operational experience.

• Capability to engage with senior external stakeholders and navigate large partner organizations autonomously.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada.

• Must currently reside in an eligible location: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada.
