This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee the education, interpretation, and implementation of the Partner Food Bank Agreement, Affiliate Food Bank Agreement, and Network Charter requirements.
• Drive the strategic adoption of modifications in Network Standards, Network Agreements, and associated requirements.
• Conduct Network Standards Reviews, evaluate compliance, and direct corrective action plans to mitigate enterprise risk.
• Assist Partner Food Banks in executing Network Standards Reviews with Affiliate Food Banks.
• Build relationships with executive leaders and organizations to assess member needs and develop action plans.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data, reports, and opportunities to provide customized member solutions.
• Support members who are not meeting agreement standards by identifying root causes and formulating remediation strategies.
• Identify, assess, collect, elevate, and disseminate promising, best, and next practices to enhance capacity across the Network.
• Collaborate with the Director of Member Engagement - Strategic Initiatives on significant projects.
• Work with the Food Safety team to ensure safe handling and distribution of products.
• Lead efforts to resolve conflicts and grievances with Network Members.
• Counsel Boards of Directors and Executive Leadership on the recruitment, onboarding, and continuous support of board members and senior leaders.
• Provide orientation and ongoing consultation for CEOs/Executive Directors.
• Advise Boards of Directors on effective governance practices and supply pertinent resources.
• Translate member and portfolio insights for internal and external stakeholders to inform enterprise planning and decision-making.
• Represent Member Engagement on both internal and external committees.
• Design and facilitate learning presentations, discussions, tools, and guidance that incorporate Member perspectives.
• Forge collaborative relationships with Network Department and FANO teams to enhance portfolio insights and support a unified partner experience.
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain, non-profit management, business, consulting, or related fields.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and incorporate historical and environmental context to generate organizational insights.
• Strong understanding of best practices in business management and organizational effectiveness.
• Capable of navigating conflicts, fostering respectful communication, and identifying solutions.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• 5+ years of experience in charitable food systems preferred.
• Proficient in Salesforce preferred.
