This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Direct the go-to-market strategy for Thermo Fisher Scientific’s ImmunoDiagnostics Division in North America, focusing on Allergy and Autoimmunity portfolios.
• Develop the regional growth agenda and convert divisional strategy into cohesive audience, portfolio, and channel plans.
• Establish and manage a high-performing team of around 15 members, including five direct reports.
• Align marketing functions with value propositions, audience journeys, channel strategies, and conversion goals.
• Identify opportunities for growth and make decisions regarding portfolio and resource allocation.
• Drive utilization, market share, revenue, and margin expansion.
• Generate demand across payors, healthcare professionals, laboratories, health systems, and patient audiences.
• Oversee the regional portfolio strategy, including positioning, messaging, lifecycle priorities, and launch readiness.
• Set the vision for digital and omnichannel customer experiences across web, search, social media, content, marketing automation, and customer journeys.
• Convert insights from customers, key opinion leaders, and the market into actionable roadmaps, forecasts, and portfolio decisions.
• Provide sales teams with essential content, tools, platforms, training, and field support.
• Formulate strategies for congresses, trade shows, advocacy, public relations, influencer engagement, and thought-leadership initiatives.
• Establish marketing KPIs, implement closed-loop reporting, ROI frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives utilizing data, AI, and automation.
• Manage the regional marketing budget and financial forecasting.
• Ensure that marketing activities and communications comply with regulatory, privacy, quality, cybersecurity, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with Sales, Global Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Finance, Operations, Product Development, Analytics, and strategic customers.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in marketing, commercial, sales, or strategy within diagnostics, medical devices, life sciences, or another regulated healthcare sector.
• At least 5 years in a senior marketing or commercial leadership capacity.
• Proven track record of building, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated success in translating strategy into demand generation, market development, commercialization, and sustainable revenue growth.
• Strong comprehension of the North American diagnostics landscape.
• Experience steering a multi-disciplinary organization that includes product marketing, marketing operations, events, digital experiences, and customer success.
• Expertise in segmentation, targeting, positioning, portfolio, and brand strategy across digital, content, events, sales enablement, and customer experience channels.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including annual planning, budget management, forecasting, KPI development, marketing ROI assessment, and funnel management.
• Ability to responsibly leverage data, AI, automation, and process enhancements.
• Proficiency in influencing within a matrixed, multinational organization and aligning senior stakeholders.
• Exceptional executive communication, judgment, change leadership, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong scientific and product knowledge, including clinical or health-economic evidence, guidelines, reimbursement, and market-access strategies.
• Customer-centric mindset, strong business acumen, and readiness to engage directly with customers, key opinion leaders, and field teams.
• Willingness to travel significantly within North America and internationally, approximately 30% of the time.
• Experience in agency management and digital strategy is highly preferred.
