This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee the commercial strategy for the U.S. Crop Protection and Non-Crop portfolio.
• Formulate and implement strategic marketing and business plans, annual marketing plans, budgets, demand forecasts, and profitability objectives.
• Recognize market opportunities, competitive threats, portfolio deficiencies, and customer requirements to shape investment strategies.
• Supply strategic market intelligence and commercial insights to executive leadership and global marketing teams.
• Spearhead commercialization strategies and product launches for pipeline offerings.
• Guide product positioning, value propositions, pricing strategies, channel directions, and lifecycle management.
• Safeguard and enhance key portfolio franchises through competitive tactics, supply chain optimization, cost management, and unique positioning.
• Propel digital transformation utilizing Salesforce, Power BI, and advanced analytics.
• Enhance marketing initiatives, account planning, and sales enablement processes.
• Create marketing processes, project governance frameworks, commercialization readiness, and performance tracking systems.
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams encompassing Asset Management, Sales, Technology, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, Business Development, and Global Marketing.
• Cultivate and nurture a high-performing marketing team through mentoring, succession planning, and talent development.
• Set priorities, establish accountability, and define performance expectations while nurturing future marketing leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Agriculture, Agronomy, or a similar field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, product management, portfolio management, or commercial leadership within the agricultural, crop protection, seed, or specialty chemical sectors.
• Proven track record of successfully leading product launches and managing intricate agricultural product portfolios.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. crop protection, non-crop, distribution, retail, and grower markets.
• Experience in formulating strategic business plans, forecasts, budgets, pricing strategies, and commercial initiatives.
• Established leadership in cross-functional teams that involve Sales, R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• Strong analytical, financial, communication, and executive presentation abilities.
• Capability to meet the specified physical demands, including lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
• Occasional travel may be necessary.
