This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Spearhead the formulation and implementation of a long-term strategic marketing plan for the Cortiva portfolio in the field of reconstructive surgery.
• Create strategies for market growth that enhance product adoption, align with approved product positioning, and maximize long-term portfolio value.
• Oversee the marketing aspects of the annual operating plan and the five-year strategic plan.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of reconstructive surgery markets, surgeon workflows, competitive environments, reimbursement trends, and emerging technologies.
• Carry out Voice of Customer initiatives with plastic and reconstructive surgeons and other key stakeholders.
• Direct market segmentation, customer prioritization, and competitive intelligence efforts.
• Manage upstream product strategy across the Cortiva portfolio.
• Establish product positioning, customer value propositions, pricing strategies, and commercialization plans.
• Create business cases for expanding the portfolio and developing future products.
• Convert surgeon insights into product requirements and innovation priorities.
• Lead cross-functional product planning from the concept stage to commercialization.
• Prioritize investments in innovation.
• Collaborate with Clinical Affairs to identify evidence-generation priorities and address research or educational gaps.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with leading plastic and reconstructive surgeons.
• Support advisory boards, scientific exchanges, educational initiatives, and engagements with healthcare professionals.
• Advocate for customer and market insights within the commercial organization.
• Work in partnership with R&D, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, Sales, and Operations teams.
• Travel approximately 40% of the time.
• 5 to 10 years of progressive marketing leadership experience within medical devices, biologics, regenerative medicine, or surgical technologies.
• At least 5 years of upstream strategic marketing experience and people management.
• Capability to function effectively in highly regulated and scientifically complex markets.
• Understanding of the boundaries of promotional, educational, and scientific exchanges across Commercial, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, and Compliance.
• Strong background in supporting Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery clientele.
• Proven track record of successfully commercializing biologics, regenerative medicine, soft tissue reconstruction, or implantable surgical technologies.
• Experience with human tissue allografts, extracellular matrix products, acellular tissue technologies, or other biologic products is highly preferred.
• Success in collaborating with R&D, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, Sales, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a regulated medical device or biologics environment.
• Preferred industry experience includes plastic and reconstructive surgery, biologic implants, human tissue allografts, regenerative medicine, soft tissue reconstruction, implantable surgical technologies, wound reconstruction, tissue engineering, extracellular matrix technologies, or surgical biologics.
• Willingness to travel about 40% of the time.
• Potential annual bonus of $40,000 at the Director level.
• Potential annual bonus of $50,000 at the Sr. Director level.
