This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive strategies and initiatives aimed at minimizing obstacles to disease identification, specialist referrals, diagnoses, genetic testing and counseling, as well as connecting patients to specialty care.
• Oversee compliant, unbranded disease education and readiness for diagnostic pathways prior to approval.
• Manage branded marketing efforts for patients and caregivers following approval.
• Collaborate with Patient Services to enhance support experiences and persistence programs utilizing aggregate, deidentified data.
• Take ownership of the omnichannel strategy and implementation for unbranded market development and disease education programs, along with branded patient and caregiver initiatives post-approval.
• Establish shared frameworks for audience journeys, channel orchestration standards, marketing technology and data requirements, as well as measurement strategies.
• Lead the development, implementation, and assessment of unbranded healthcare professional disease-state peer-to-peer programs.
• Create education materials focused on symptoms and pathways for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
• Specify commercial needs for genetic testing access programs.
• Manage the annual plan, budget, agency and vendor execution, along with aggregate performance metrics.
• Act as the primary marketing liaison to the Omnichannel Business Partner.
• Co-manage the relationship with the advertising Agency of Record.
• Identify recurring systemic barriers through research, advocacy insights, and aggregate data analysis.
• Lead commercial initiatives addressing ongoing issues related to genetic testing, specialist referrals, treatment center connections, and support barriers.
• Lead or assist in facilitating patient and caregiver advisory boards.
• Partner with advocacy groups to broaden education, referral, and support resources.
• Coordinate with National Patient Advocacy regarding strategy, funding governance, and content independence.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Market Access, HUB/Patient Services, TLL, Account Managers, and Brand Strategy & HCP Engagement.
• Set national priorities for market development and patient journeys, equipping field teams with approved programs and aggregate insights.
• Contribute to congress strategy and cross-functional launch planning.
• Minimum of 10 years of commercial experience in the U.S. biopharmaceutical sector.
• Background in market development, disease education, patient marketing, digital and omnichannel engagement, new-product launches, and market analysis.
• Recent experience in the commercialization of rare diseases is essential.
• Proven experience in developing compliant unbranded education and pathway programs prior to launch.
• Experience in patient marketing post-approval.
• Demonstrated success in collaborating with patient advocacy organizations within the appropriate governance framework.
• Strong preference for experience in diagnostics, genetics, neurology, or diagnostic-pathway market development.
• An MBA or relevant graduate degree is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% based on business needs.
