This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Manage, oversee, and expand a network of distributor partners throughout the UK, EMEA, and APAC regions.
• Formulate and implement an international business development and sales strategy aimed at driving revenue growth, increasing test volume, and facilitating market expansion.
• Establish, monitor, and enforce sales targets and growth KPIs for distributors; identify underperformance issues and devise corrective action plans.
• Identify, assess, and onboard new distributor and channel partners, negotiating agreements that align with Artera's commercial strategy.
• Cultivate relationships with distributors, healthcare institutions, oncologists, urologists, pathologists, and other regional stakeholders.
• Lead negotiations, address objections, and finalize distribution and partnership agreements in collaboration with Legal and the CCO.
• Develop and manage distributor onboarding plans, overseeing the launch, ramp-up, and sustainable volume growth phases.
• Effectively communicate Artera's product portfolio, applications, and value propositions to distributors and partners.
• Keep abreast of international regulatory, reimbursement, and market dynamics across the UK, EMEA, and APAC regions.
• Prepare and present business reviews, proposals, and presentations to distributors and clients.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team on regional sales initiatives, product launches, and marketing campaigns.
• Partner with departments such as Research & Development, Product, Regulatory, Market Access, Legal, and Billing.
• Maintain records of distributor performance, sales activity, and opportunities in the CRM; report on regional volume and growth metrics.
• Travel throughout the UK, EMEA, and APAC as necessary.
• Bachelor's degree required; an MBA, M.S., or MPH in Life Sciences or a related field is strongly preferred.
• 5-8+ years of relevant international sales or business development experience, with a proven track record of managing distributors across Europe, the UK, and EMEA.
• Demonstrated success in driving volume and revenue growth through distributor and channel partnerships in digital pathology, oncology diagnostics, or AI oncology healthcare sectors.
• Possess strong sales grit and commercial acumen; self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of sales targets.
• In-depth understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly regarding cancer diagnostics and/or treatments, regulations, and reimbursement processes.
• Experience with distributor agreements, business proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures.
• Analytical thinker who can adapt to changing priorities and solve problems to achieve company objectives.
• Willingness and ability to travel (~30%) throughout Europe, the UK, and EMEA.
• Proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
• Experience in oncology and familiarity with biomarkers.
• Background in medtech product distribution across international markets.
• Established network of distributor relationships within Europe, the UK, or EMEA.
