This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Foster organic growth of media solutions within the existing client base.
β’ Spearhead media solutions for new business pitches.
β’ Oversee, mentor, and enhance a cross-functional team of media planners and optimizers.
β’ Create and document team processes and best practices.
β’ Direct media planning, negotiation, deployment, and optimization for assigned clients from start to finish.
β’ Identify and source or conduct research on media consumption and trends relevant to target audiences.
β’ Formulate media strategies that directly align with client objectives.
β’ Collaborate with earned media specialists to craft integrated Paid, Earned, Owned, and Shared strategies.
β’ Manage media schedules and budget reconciliation, and prepare and dispatch RFPs to media partners.
β’ Assess and compare RFP responses and negotiate added value with external media partners.
β’ Collaborate with internal account teams and subject matter experts to develop strategic brand plans incorporating integrated media.
β’ Assist project management and account teams in estimating paid media projects and retainers.
β’ Cultivate relationships with sales representatives from key media partners.
β’ Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and paid media opportunities.
β’ Educate internal teams on media planning processes, deliverables, timelines, and paid media proficiency.
β’ Strategize across digital, traditional, video, and audio paid media channels.
β’ Work with paid media subject matter experts to devise holistic strategies and utilize media capabilities.
β’ Collaborate flexibly and in a solution-oriented manner, taking a hands-on approach when necessary.
β’ At least 6 years of planning experience in an agency environment.
β’ Experience in PR/Communications agencies is highly desirable.
β’ Core competency in traditional and offline channel planning.
β’ Strong proficiency in sponsored content and endemic direct buys within the healthcare sector, preferably with corporate communications clients.
β’ Minimum of 4 yearsβ experience in pharmaceutical advertising.
β’ Management experience is required.
β’ Familiarity with digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ad Manager, Programmatic DSPs, and other relevant media platforms.
β’ Experience in campaign management, ad serving, and viewability/fraud prevention technologies.
β’ Working knowledge of third-party media research and competitive monitoring tools.
β’ Proficient in Google Analytics.
β’ Exceptional presentation and deck-building skills.
β’ Willingness to travel to meet client and agency needs.
β’ Ability to work independently while also being an effective relationship builder.
β’ Strong attention to detail.
β’ All positions are remote-friendly, with the option to work from anywhere within the United States, in one of three offices, or a combination of both.
