This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.
• Foster innovation across a broad spectrum, specific focus area, or horizontal capability.
• Convert strategic objectives into clear guidance, focus, and measurable results.
• Manage and oversee a portfolio of innovation initiatives.
• Lead the identification, development, prioritization, and advancement of opportunities.
• Ensure continuity of value propositions from initial exploration through validation, transition, and adoption phases.
• Collaborate with business, digital, data, technology, and delivery leaders to align priorities and facilitate implementation.
• Serve as the main senior liaison between innovation efforts and downstream execution teams.
• Direct portfolio prioritization and investment trade-offs.
• Guarantee that opportunities are backed by solid evidence, clear assumptions, and well-articulated value propositions.
• Contribute to governance, portfolio evaluations, and investment decision-making processes.
• Influence the innovation direction from perspectives of people, processes, and technology.
• Assist in long-term strategic planning and future innovation priorities.
• Identify trends, dependencies, risks, and emerging opportunities.
• Oversee the development and communication of the enterprise innovation narrative.
• Collaborate with commercial, strategy, and communications teams to position innovation capabilities and strategic initiatives effectively.
• Represent the organization both internally and externally in strategic discussions, industry engagements, client interactions, and thought leadership activities.
• Integrate both internal and external viewpoints to inform portfolio decisions and business outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience leading innovation, transformation, strategy, product discovery, or technology-driven business initiatives.
• Experience managing large-scale or enterprise-level portfolios, strategic initiatives, or cross-functional innovation programs.
• Proven success in shaping and advancing high-impact innovation opportunities through structured discovery, validation, and transition processes.
• Experience in influencing senior and executive stakeholders within matrixed organizations.
• Strong leadership background in cross-functional business, digital, data, and technology environments.
• Experience representing innovation initiatives in senior governance forums, strategic planning discussions, or external industry contexts.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS) is preferred.
• Strong strategic leadership and innovation management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of innovation, experimentation, and evidence-based investment strategies.
• Capability to shape and prioritize high-value innovation opportunities in uncertain and changing environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities across senior business and technology leadership.
• Strong commercial insight and understanding of how innovation drives growth, differentiation, and competitive positioning.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
• Ability to balance long-term strategic vision with practical portfolio prioritization and advancement.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Awareness of emerging technologies, digital transformation, and innovation trends pertinent to clinical research and healthcare.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for global and cross-functional teams.
