Director – Industry Advisor, FINS

📋 Description

• Assist in scaling the organization and enhancing its capabilities.

• Collaborate with GTM and Delivery teams to implement growth strategies for key accounts.

• Drive cross-functional growth initiatives and influence both new clients and existing accounts to demonstrate KPIs from engagements with Coastal.

• Represent Coastal at significant industry events while identifying new growth prospects.

• Serve as the Voice of FINS to prospects, clients, and partners.

• Represent Coastal at Money20/20, with a focus on Financial Services Cloud and AI-driven wealth management.

• Assist in scoping and estimating programs and projects.

• Facilitate “True North” sessions for Banking or Insurance executives modernizing legacy core-banking integrations through MuleSoft.

• Co-sell, develop, and manage strategic prospects.

• Create competitive analyses and strategic go-to-market approaches.

• Educate and empower sales, pre-sales, and customer success teams on sub-verticals while influencing Coastal’s perspective.

• Collaborate cross-functionally on content for events, marketing materials, and partnered GTM initiatives.

• Support the direction of market-ready solutions and execute growth strategies.

• Engage with Salesforce RVPs and AEs to collaborate on new opportunities and drive projects.

• Build, manage, and cultivate a team-oriented environment.

• Provide leadership, coaching, performance feedback, and resources to associates.

• Create estimates that align with customer requirements, expectations, and deliverables.

• Coach, mentor, and develop Market team members.

• Travel as necessary to support sales cycles and finalize business deals.


⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of consulting experience in delivery leadership related to iterative software development, preferably in Salesforce, within the FINS sector.

• 5+ years of experience in sales.

• Proven experience in portfolio growth.

• Extensive industry expertise with a strong perspective on sub-verticals.

• Commitment to fostering long-term customer relationships and securing business through trust.

• Consultative mindset and a dedication to continuous learning in a dynamic environment.

• Understanding of and relationships within the Salesforce ecosystem, including MuleSoft, Tableau, Slack, etc.

• Exceptional communication skills with an ability to comprehend business requirements and think quickly.

• Consistent track record of building and managing effective teams.

• Self-motivated individual capable of multitasking in a fast-paced, high-pressure work setting.

• Strong customer orientation and results-driven leadership.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data for value-based discussions.

• Must possess full-time permanent US work authorization.

• Preferred experience leading digital transformation and large-scale change management initiatives.

• Strong understanding of AI is preferred.

• Ability to engage and inspire teams is preferred.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
